The Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus WiFi adds convenient remote control through the MyDolphin Plus app, allowing users to manage cleaning schedules and settings. However, despite the added connectivity, it still lacks NanoFilters and waterline cleaning capabilities. Its 50-foot reach and CleverClean navigation offer good pool coverage, but this model may fall short for those who need a more comprehensive cleaning solution. Without the advanced features of newer models, it remains a basic choice for moderate pool maintenance.
The Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus WiFi is missing the MaxBin™, an oversized filter basket that is easier to clean and up to 225% larger.
Read About MaxBin™ →Without waterline cleaning, the Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus WiFi won't clean the dirtest part of your pool. The Nautilus CC Plus WiFi only has partial wall climbing.
Why Waterline Cleaning is Needed →Without these Gen 2 filters, the Nautilus CC Plus WiFi cannot clean smaller particles, such as algae, sand, and other debris.
Why NanoFilters are essential →Upgraded Max-Series™ with Wall Climbing, MaxBin™, Weekly Smart Timer, and NanoFiltration™ Capability
Features waterline cleaning, smart weekly timer, MaxBin™, NanoFilters™, and a 2 year warranty.

The media could not be loaded. Edit: after a week it FINALLY stopped getting stuck but wanted to wait to see if it would again before updating this review. Don't know why it took so long to map the pool or whatever happened. It's about twice a week now when it does get stuck so at least it's better. After spending almost a thousand bucks and setting it up step by step with the wifi app, it ran for 10 minutes then got stuck. I waited for 10 more minutes to see if it would correct itself and it never did. Then it went to the other side of the pool and got stuck again. My brother in law has this and his would get stuck on the steps but I thought it was because he had a kidney shaped pool. Nope! Mine is a plane Jane rectangle pool and it gets stuck on my basic steps. Get it together Dolphin, this is supposed to be a smart cleaner that maps out your pool. There needs to be a way to avoid the steps using the app or at least program it to where if it doesn't move for 5 minutes then it needs to lower the pressure so it can fall to the floor and try again. What a waste on money and time.
Here’s the real world scenario our dolphin thing has lived through for two years and counting: We leave this thing in the outside elements more than we should, either at the bottom of the pool or outside the pool frying in the Texas sun. We don’t even own a cover for it. It’s had to cruise around the bottom of the pool when we’ve kind of “let it go” before, and has even handled that pretty well with leaves and random stuff at the bottom of the pool. The kids have occasionally tried to stand on it while it’s driving around. They’ve pulled it up by it’s cord to plop it out of the pool and get it out of their way. Only issue we ever had was, a handful of months into ownership, the little computer box portion stopped working. We contacted the seller and a replacement was promptly sent our way. It’s been problem-free ever since.
UPDATE: I am adding two extra stars because the unit seems to have gotten an over Wi-Fi update and now seems to get stuck less than it was before. It is not a “smart” unit that learns your pool, but the cycle seems to have been changed which causes it to free itself from jams more often. ORIGINAL RECIEW: I was hoping that this would be the solution to years of fighting with a pressure sided cleaner. It isn’t. If you have any cutouts, stairs or forms in your pool be prepared to stand by for two hours to release it every time it gets stuck. I watched the unit struggle to free itself for 30 minutes. It’s a programming issue on the unit, because each time it would have been able to escape if only it went backwards for more than two seconds before accelerating forward and slamming right back into the same stuck location again. I had to free it multiple times from three separate corner locations in the pool. At least my Polaris had the back flow valve that could launch it out of any trapped location and across the pool. I am very disappointed. The only positive is that it does seem to clean well, but I would had bought a much cheaper unit if I knew I would have to babysit it so closely.
We’ve had our cleaner for just less than a week. I chose this model because it was recommended by a friend who also has one. We have ran it twice and so far so good. We have a 20x40 rectangular gunite pool. It doesn’t always get the corners great, but I’m happy doing those on my own if the rest gets clean. I’m hoping to give this little guy 5 stars once we’ve had it longer. We did buy the cart and cover. The cover seems a bit flimsy, but it’ll keep the dust off. Definitely buy the cart!!
