I hate lifting pool cleaners out of the pool. I feel like I get all messy and it's so heavy. I was so pleased with how light this Polaris is. I just pressed the button and it drove over to me and climbed the wall right up to where I was standing. When I grabbed it, it emptied all the water so it wasn't heavy to carry. Definitely a nice feature!

Hands down best thing about the Polaris 9550 is the indicator that tells you when to clean the canister. Instead of realizing an hour too late that it's full and hasn't been picking anything new up, now it tells you immediately when it needs to be emptied. I also like how it has a remote though. It's like playing with those remote controlled cars as my pool gets cleaned.
I was really excited to try the Polaris 9550 and its remote, so I was a little disappointed with the remote's responsiveness. I guess I had too high of hopes. It's not terrible, like it eventually gets to where you were trying to point it, but it's not an immediate thing like I'd hoped. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great vacuum and pool cleaner—just not quite as fun to drive as I'd hoped!
