Hey guys! It’s Joshua with Poolbots.com. And today we are looking at using the Aquabot RC app so you can unlock the full cleaning power of the Aquabot Elite Pro from the palm of your hand!
One of the newest features to the Aquabot and Dolphin lines of robotic pool cleaners is their phone connectivity in models such as the Sigma, and the Elite Pro. These apps allow you to conveniently drive your robot, check for errors, and set up scheduling, all from your smartphone.
Today’s focus is on the Aquabot RC app that works with the Aquabot Elite Pro by connecting over Bluetooth. This app has five screens, each of which help you unlock your robot’s premium potential.
The first screen shows the cleaner’s name, allows you to turn it on or off, shows how long you have selected it to run for, and shows if you have set a delayed start. This screen also shows signal strength, so you can ensure you are connected to the robot.
The next screen is the manual control screen that lets you change the robot’s direction from forward to backward or rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise, so you can quickly clean areas that need a small touchup.
The next screen is an alert screen that will let you know of any issues with the robot so you can diagnose them quickly, without guessing at what is going wrong.
The next page simply displays product info.
This final page is where you can set the delayed start and operation time you see on the home page as well as work intervals for once or every two, three, or four days! So you can tailor the Elite Pro’s cleaning to your pool needs. To customize its cleaning even more, you can also select your pool shape and surface so the robot can map the pool more effectively.
