Hey guys, it's Joshua with Poolbots.com, and today we will be looking at a completely harmless part of shipping of many robotic pool cleaners that may seem worrying at first glance: the crushed appearance of foam wheels and foam rollers on units such as Dolphin Premier, Aquabot X4, or Dolphin Sigma.
Many users are worried that they may have received a damaged unit when they pull it out of the box for the first time because the foam elements of the unit, whether they are wheels or brush sponges, appear crushed during shipping. Luckily, appearances can be deceiving, and this is completely normal. These front foam wheels and rollers are actually a special material for climbing, which absorbs water, similar to sponges, and they may crush down during shipping.
