Aiper Pool Robot Issues

Battery and Power

Aiper robotic pool cleaners, notably the Seagull models, have encountered several issues as reported by users. One of the primary problems is related to battery and power. Many users have faced challenges with the pool robots not charging properly or taking longer than expected to charge. In some cases, even after a full charge, the devices fail to turn on or function as intended. This issue is often accompanied by indicators like flashing lights or no response from the unit when attempting to start it.

Malfuntioning LEDs

Users have also reported problems with the LED lights of some Aiper models. For instance, the Seagull SE has had instances where the LED lights stopped working after limited use, and the device itself did not start. Similar issues include the device showing fully charged yet remaining completely unresponsive when the start button is pushed. These problems are often signified by the unit displaying red or blue flashing lights or no lights at all, indicating a failure to charge or start.

Movement

Another significant issue concerns the movement and functionality of the pool cleaners. Some users have encountered situations where the cleaners only move in one direction, get stuck at the pool's edge, or show no signs of cleaning efficacy even when they are moving. This includes challenges with climbing walls or stairs and cleaning the pool floor effectively. In several instances, the control knobs on these devices have also been reported as hard to turn or unresponsive.

Customer Support

Regarding customer support and warranty, some users have found Aiper responsive and helpful, others have faced difficulties in getting timely support or replacements for defective units. This variation in customer service experiences can impact the overall satisfaction with the product.

Conclusion

In summary, while Aiper robotic pool cleaners offer the convenience of automated pool cleaning, they have been subject to various issues related to charging, functionality, and customer support. These problems, such as difficulties with charging, limited movement, and responsiveness, can significantly affect the user experience and the overall effectiveness of the pool vacuums.
